The Inaugural Kern County STEMposium, set for the morning of May 19, 2017, will bring together students, businesses, and the community to share information on “all things STEM.”
Think “science fair meets job fair,” where high school students will demonstrate their innovative STEM projects, while businesses display equipment and demonstrate skills needed to be successful in the workplace.
Adding to the energy will be speakers on the “STEM Stage,” delivering informative talks that will be of benefit to students, educators, and businesses alike.
Middle school students will explore the exhibits, learning from older students and businesses, while college students will host a makerspace and other activities designed to give students hands-on experience designing and creating their own products.
For any questions about sponsorship or the STEMposium, please contact Courtney Ansolabehere at firstname.lastname@example.org or call at (661) 862-5157.
If you’re interested in presenting an interactive, STEM-related booth (without being a cash sponsor), email a description of your exhibit to Courtney@kedc.com.
A limited number of complimentary booth space is available for selected applicants.
